This video is for people with zero experience in the stacking workflow of deep sky objects. In the video we will use a very small, and short, stack of 5 second exposures and combine them for a final image. The Great Orion Nebula is the target and the minimum equipment is an eq1 or go to mount. Anyone with a dslr camera in prime or a long focal length lens on either of those mounts should be successful. This is going to be part of a series and the videos will get progressively more difficult but yield much better results. I am using a Celestron NexStar 4/5 mount, a homemade camera platform, a Canon 60D, and a Rokinon 500mm F6.3 mirror lens at 3200 ISO in a heavily light polluted city. I hope to encourage you and get you started. Clear skies.
